Thanks to Sylvia and the show management team for the invitation to judge at one of my favourite shows, and for the excellent lunch. Thanks to Anne Clay for coming to steward for me with her usual unquenchable enthusiasm and stamina: I look forward to the next time.

Imperial Grand Champion, Male
IGCC Baughan's GR CH MAPU PEPPIE (24n) 22 Apr 01
A handsome mature lad of very good type, hardly betraying his age. Long even wedge masked a little by slight jowling, good width at the top; very well set large ears. Straight profile, chin ebbs a little, bite lacking most incisors but appears level. Eyes of very good shape and set, which for perfection would be a slightly deeper blue. Long strong body, long legs with neat paws, tail needing an extra fraction to balance. Points good lilac-based caramel showing clear brownish overtones, lightly shaded off-white body, close coat of good texture, just a touch of treated stud tail at the base. Excellent temperament and presentation.
Res IGCC Greenland's GR CH MOONFLEET JOIE DEVIVRE (32/5) 1 Jun 05
A strong mature lad, of very good type. Long wedge with a small pinch, and a little over-long in the muzzle, good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin, level bite lacking many incisors. Eyes of excellent shape and set which ideally would be a slightly deeper blue. Long muscular body which ideally would carry more weight, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Marked in a good very good deep red: clear "M", thumbprints and single ribbons, fairly clear leg bars, tail with the end third completely ringed, and the next third partially, lightly shaded body. Close coat of good texture. Excellent presentation, handled well but really needs more self-confidence to show himself off properly.

A girl of good type and sufficient maturity for her age. Medium length even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Profile straight apart from a bump on the nose, firm chin, bite almost level. Eyes of good shape and set which she did hold rather wide out of the pen, of a reasonable depth of blue. Medium length firm body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra inch to balance and rather blunt at the tip. Mask, ears and tail warm chocolate which although darker than I would ideally like was nonetheless acceptable, unshaded warm ivory body. Close coat of good texture. Excellent temperament though rather overawed by it all, excellent presentation.
Cream Point Kitten, Male

A very well developed charming baby of very good type. Long even wedge, good width at the top, well set large eras. Straight profile, firm chin but angled back a little, bite scissored over. Eyes of very good shape and set, of a rather pale shade of blue, and showing an intermittent "Siamese expression". Long muscular body, long legs with large paws, balancing length of tail. Points a slightly dark cream showing too much warmth of tone: I do wonder whether when they develop fully they will be seen to be something else, but at the moment I cannot be sure. Unshaded creamy body, close coat of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.

A lad of reasonably good type, nearly adult and I would prefer to see him more developed at this stage: at the moment, the body has rather outgrown the head. Longish even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and set needing more depth of blue. Longish well fed body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Marked in a dark blue, the ears and paws showing some indications of sludgy overtones but not definite enough to be sure he is caramel rather than blue: clear "M", single ribbon, thumbprints, good leg bars, well ringed tail, moderately shaded body. Close coat of good texture; excellent temperament and presentation.

A well developed girl of excellent type. Long even wedge, good width at the top, large ears held a fraction low. Straight profile, firm chin and level bite. Expressive eyes of excellent shape and set, which ideally would be a slightly deeper blue. Long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Marked in a good blue: clear "M", single ribbon, no thumbprints, good leg bars, tail completely ringed. Lightly shaded body, close coast of good texture. Superb temperament, excellent presentation. My choice later for best Siamese exhibit: congratulations.

An nicely grown girl of very good type. Longish even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of excellent shape opened a little wide when out of the pen, of a really good deep blue. Long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Marked in a good warm seal: clear "M", thumbprints, single ribbon, good leg bars, tail one third clearly ringed with some more indistinct rings. Moderately shaded body, close coat of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.
Tortie Point Neuter

A rather nervous lady of very good type. Long wedge with a slight pinch, a fraction long for its width, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin, level bite lacking most incisors. Eyes of very good shape and set of a good depth of blue. Long well-fed muscular body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra inch to balance. Points of a good seal all well broken, with just a little bright red in evidence. Heavily shaded body, close coat of very good texture. Handled well; excellent presentation.

Points a warm toned apricot which could show a more defined brownish overtone. Unshaded body, close coat of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.

A small girl still looking rather kittenish. Medium length even wedge, needing a little more width at the top, large ears held a little high. Small dip in profile, firm chin, bite scissored over. Eyes of good shape and set, needing more depth of blue. Medium length firm body, long legs with largish paws, tail needs an extra inch or two to balance. Points a good seal all well mingled showing some bright red. Coat of just adequate length of an excellent soft silky texture, ear and toe furnishings coming, plume rather full. Excellent temperament and presentation.

Points rather a dark chocolate showing some warmth, unshaded body, close coat of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.

A charming and talkative kitten of very good type, only just old enough to be here, and not large for her age though quite solid. Medium length wedge with a small pinch, good width at the top, well set large ears. Small dip in profile and a shallow depression above the brow, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and set, of a good depth of blue. Proportionate body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Points a darkish blue showing some brownish overtones, lightly shaded body. Coat of good length a little fluffy still. Excellent temperament and presentation.
