Open Classes

Siamese Champion Male

GCC Palmers's CH DRESTOTHRIL DEBUSSIE (SIA n) 14 Mar 09
A handsome very masculine-looking lad of very good type. Strong medium length even wedge, a little jowling, well set large ears. Straight profile, chin ebbs slightly, only one incisor left but bite seems level. Expressive eyes of very good shape and set which ideally would be a slightly deeper shade of blue. Long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Points a dense dark warm seal, moderately shaded body - a little more than that over the top of the head, but nowhere near being hooded. Coat a fraction long, close lying, rather harsh in texture. Excellent temperament, especially for an older entire boy. Excellent presentation.

Siamese Champion Female

1 (GCC N/A) Bohanna's CH JOMESE JAMBALAYA (SIA n) 9 Apr 10
A girl of good type. Long wedge with rather a pinch and an over extended muzzle, needs a little more width at the top for balance, well set large ears. Small dip in profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and set which need more depth of blue. Long firm body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra inch to balance. Points a dense dark seal, moderately shaded body particularly over the hindquarters. Short close coat of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.

Oriental Cream/Apricot Adult

BOB Keoghan's GRCH ALDERSTR ANDRO (OSH em) M 19 Jan 13
A handsome lad of excellent type, of very good maturity considering he's only a year and a half old. Strong medium length even wedge with some jowling, good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin and evel bite. Eyes of very good shape and set, olive green in colour. Long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Very good sandy apricot colouring, sound to the roots, showing a little spotted pattern. Coat mostly short and close lying, and of good texture, but with two problem areas - over the lower spine it is a little long and dry in texture, and over the upper neck extremely short and of an odd texture, with the hair tips apparently absent - possibly through over-enthusiastic rolling on a concrete run? Whatever the cause, it did not detract unduly. Excellent temperament and presentation. By a distance my choice for best Oriental adult, though the competition was strong.

Oriental Black Kitten

1+BOB Masters's ENIGMATIC HES SOVAIN M 5 Mar 14
A promising lad of very good type and well grown for his age. Long even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin with a little beard, bite level. Eyes of good shape and set, a slightly yellowy green in colour. Long firm body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Colour mostly jet black and sound to the roots, just showing some very faint ghost barring to the hind legs. Short close coat of good texture, excellent temperament and presentation.

Balinese Neuter

BOB Ryan's RIDESTAR SEVERN SUNRISE (BAL d 21) MN 20 Jun 12
A large mature lad of very good type. Long even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Profile straight apart from a small bump on the nose, chin slightly shallow, bite level. Eyes of good shape though he can open them rather wide, well set and of quite a good depth of blue. Long well fed body, long legs with quite neat paws, tail needs an extra inch. Coat of quite good length and excellent texture, but the presence of some undercoat over the body means it does not flow as it ideally should. Well furnished paws and ears, good plume, rather a pronounced frill to the neck. Good bright rich red tabby markings, excellent tail rings clearly visible. Excellent temperament if a little shy, excellent presentation,

Miscellaneous Classes

Oriental Breeders Adult

1 Brownrigg's GRCH HEMLOCK SOULJA BOY (OSH a 24) M 25 Mar 12
A handsome lad of very good type. Strong medium length even wedge, Good width at the top, well set large ears. Small dip in profile, Firm slightly shallow chin, level bite. Eyes of good shape though he does open them rather wide, well set and of a very good green. Long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Marked in a dark blue on a paler ground, very good markings to head, good leg bars, well ringed tail. Spine quite well broken, spots to the body show some linkage towards the rear of the body but are well separated elsewhere, though some of them could be rounder, colour is sound to the roots but there is a little agouti invasion. Short close coat of excellent texture. Not entirely happy to be handled today, excellent opresentation.
2 Helm's CH VELVETENA FAWNYKACHON (OSH p) F 31 May 12
An attractive girl of very good type. Medium length even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Tiny dip in profile, firm deep chin and level bite. Eyes of very good shape and set, a good green in colour. Long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra fraction. Colour a good fawn, slightly unsound but free of ghost markings, coat short and close of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.
3 Sidnell's LOLUJA HISSY MISSPRISSY (OSH m 11) F 11 Nov 13
A pretty girl of very good type. Longish even wedge, good width at the top, large ears set just a fraction low. Small dip in profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of very good shape set a little straight, of an olive green. Pattern colour a pale lilac-based caramel showing sufficient browny overtones, pale ground colour. Her rather linked spotted pattern is admittedly diffuse in appearance, mainly because of heavy agouti invasion, but the colour goes right down to the roots(or almost so in some places). The best I can say of her pattern is that is an extremely poor shaded, and though development may prove me wrong I think it more likely that she is in fact a poor spotted tabby instead. Short close coat of excellent texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.

Oriental Non-Breeders Adult

1 Brownrigg's CH IDEAL CAT ZEBRA (OSH n 03) F 17 Jul 12
A girl with a very masculine look to her, of very good type. Longish even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Small dip in profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and set and good green colour. Long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra fraction. Coloured areas jet black sound to the roots, white in all the right places including an unusual narrow strip up the centre of her head and some white on the upper body, in all amounting to rather over the required third. Short close coat of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.
2 Webb's GRCH CHANTEUR SHADY LADY (OLH f 11) F 6 Sep 12
A girl of very good type. Medium length even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Profile almost straight with a small bump on the nose, firm deep chin, level bite. Eyes of very good shape and set, a good green in colour. Long firm body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra inch. Colour an attractive mingling of black and shades of pale red, paler undercolour to about two-thirds of the hair length but the roots grey, no real pattern visible on the surface. Coat rather short though of excellent texture, I thought it just about acceptable in length considering possible seasonal effects. Quite good plume. Excellent temperament and presentation.
3 Davies's BRIDESHEAD BLUE BANSHEE (OSH a) F 7 Mar 13
A girl of good type. Medium length wedge with a tiny pinch, good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile angled down a little from the brow, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape though she can open them rather wide, well set and of a good green. Long slender body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Colour quite a good blue, sound to the roots, short close coat of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.

Eyes of good basic shape though rather full, of a yellowy green colour. Long firm body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra fraction. Colour dark blue, slightly unsound, coat rather long and soft in texture. Excellent temperament and presentation

A very handsome lad of excellent type. Long even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of excellent shape, a good green in colour. Very long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Very well marked in a good warm chocolate, sound to the roots, paler warm ground, excellent markings to the head, very well broken spine for the top two thirds, the lower third quite good. Spotting to the sides mostly well separated, a little linked on the middle body, a little agouti invasion. Very short close coat of excellent texture. Handled well but gave the impression he was slightly disenchanted with being shown, which is a pity. Excellent presentation.

Very short close coat of excellent texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.
2 Cassar-Simmonds's FIORDILISO SINOPIA LENNOX (OSH p) M 21 Mar 14

Dip in profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of very good shape, set rather straight, a good green in colour. Medium length very well fed body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Medium length firm body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Marked in jet black sound to the roots, but the ground colour grey, good markings to the head, good leg bars and tail rings, well defined spots on the body though with some linkage, unfortunately showing substantial agouti invasion. Spine rather solid over the back half. Short close coat of good texture. Good temperament though a little apprehensive, excellent presentation.

1 Jones's MESBELLES MADEMOISELE COCO (OSH b) F 31 Mar 14
A girl of good type. Medium length wedge with a small pinch, good width at the top, well set large ears. Small dip in profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and set, of a pure but quite pale green. Long slender body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Eyes of good shape and set, of a good depth of blue. Long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra fraction. Quite well marked in a mid blue-based caramel, which ideally would have clearer browny overtones. Moderately shaded body, short close coat of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.

Siamese/Balinese Non-Breeders Kitten

1 Thorp's JOHPAS THE RED BARON (SIA d) M 11 Apr 14
A promising kitten of very good type. Long even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of excellent shape and set, their colour unfortunately does need a lot more depth of blue. Long slender body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Unshaded body, short close coat of excellent texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.

1 Ryan's RIDESTAR SEVERN SUNRISE (BAL d 21) MN

A girl of good type. Longish almost even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Almost straight profile, firm deep chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and set, quite a good depth of blue. Long strong body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra inch and rather blunt at the tip. Points a very good dense warm seal, though a little spoilt by brindling on the right side of the mask, moderately shaded very warm toned body, short close coat of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.

Siamese/Balinese Non-Breeders Neuter

1 Wroe's CH & PR COSITA BRUNO TONIOLI (SIA a 21) MN 23 Jul 13
An impressive masculine-looking lad of very good type. Longish even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Profile straight apart from a small bump on the nose, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of very good shape and set and a good depth of blue. Long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Well marked in a darkish blue, the "M" slightly blurred, good leg bars, tail completely ringed. Lightly shaded body, short close coat slightly harsh in texture. Excellent temperament though determined to let us know his opinion of the indignity of being handled; excellent presentation.
2 Glaubitz's IGRPR LITTLEFEAT DISTANT THUNDER (SIA d) MN 29 May 09
A handsome large lad of very good type. Long wedge with a small pinch, good width at the top, well set large ears. Tiny dip in profile and small bump on the nose, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and set, spaced rather wide apart because of the broad base of his nose, of a good depth of blue. Very long well fed body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra fraction. Good bright red points, lightly shaded body Short close coat of slightly harsh texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.
3 Brider & Mackenzie's GRPR NANPEMA HOLLY-GOLIGHTLY (SIA f) FN 8 Dec 10
A mature girl of good type. Medium length even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Profile rather flat over the forehead and angled down from the brow, small bump in the nose, firm deep chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and set and good depth of blue. Long well fed body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra fraction. Points of good warm seal well broken with mostly pale shades of red, though some brighter red present on the tail and ears. Moderately shaded body, short close coat of excellent texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.
Wrong Colour Kay's VONTEEZ AGENT DYNAMITE (SIA d) MN 26 Oct 13
A very juvenile looking lad of reasonably good type. Medium length even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape though rather full, well set and of a good depth of blue. Medium length firm body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Points are definitely not red, having the flat opaque appearance typical of a dilute colour - I am in no doubt that his colour is quite a good warm apricot. Unshaded body, coat rather long but of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.
