Thanks to the show managers of both shows, and their respective teams, for the invitation to judge, always a pleasure. Good to see in increased entry, even if it wasn't replicated in the Siamese and Oriental sections, though there was good quality there.

A lad of very good type, with a good degree of maturity for his age, but I would still prefer more at this level. Longish even wedge, I would prefer a fraction more width at the top to balance, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm deep chin and level bite. Eyes of very good shape and set and good green colour. Long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, long tail to balance. Jet black marking sound to the roots, some warmth to the ground colour, particularly to the limbs and head, though I would prefer more. Very good markings to head and legs, mostly well defined spots on the body though some linkage towards both front and rear, better on the right side, some agouti overlay to the front edge of the spots, short close coat of excellent texture. The central spine line is solid from the shoulders down, and the outer two lines are broken a little but not much. Irregular rings to the tail, with a solid dorsal stripe and rather a long black tip. Short close coat of excellent texture. Excellent temperament if a little retiring, excellent presentation.

A mature girl of superior type, very shy and needing a lot of gentle persuasion to show herself off to her best advantage. Medium length even wedge, just a little broad in the muzzle, good width at the top, well set large ears. Profile almost straight, a little flat over the forehead, firm deep chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and set, of a very good depth of blue. Long strong body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra inch. Points a dense warm seal, lightly shaded warm toned body, short close coat of very good texture. Excellent presentation.

A lad of very good type. Long wedge a little overlong in the muzzle, jowls starting to become apparent, good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of very good shape and set of a good depth of blue. Long lean muscular body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Points a dark warm chocolate, a little brindled, lightly shaded body, very short close coat of excellent texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.

A girl of good type and good maturity for her age. Medium length wedge with a small pinch, good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and set and good depth of blue. Long firm body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra fraction. Points a darkish warm lilac, lacking pinky overtones like almost all lilacs I see these days, and in any case if they had been present they would have been killed by the hall lighting. Short close coat of excellent texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.

Rather a small girl, of good type. Longish even wedge needing a fraction more width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, angled down a little from the brow, firm but rather shallow chin, level bite. Eyes of good shape and set and good depth of blue. Medium length muscular body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra inch. Points of dark chocolate well mingled with shades of pale red. Short close coat of excellent texture. Excellent temoerament and presentation.

A large mature lad of very good type. Longish even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile other than a small bump on the nose, firm deep chin and level bite. Eyes of very good shape and set, and good depth of blue. Long strong body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Points a good bright red, moderately shaded body, coat a little long but close lying and of very good texture. Excellent temperament, a talkative lad, excellent presentation.

Straight profile, chin has depth but ebbs, level bite. Eyes of very good shape and set, of a good green colour. Long slender muscular body, long legs with neat paws, long tail to balance. Very good classic pattern in jet black sound to the roots, the ground colour could be warmer. Good markings to head and tail, well defined butterfly, rather broad spine lines, good oysters surrounded by a complete ring, good tail rings. Very short close coat of excellent texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.

Colour a rich red sound to the roots, coat a little long but close lying and of very good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.
